अपने हक के लिए आवाज़ उठाना बुरा नहीं है..

एक सवाल मेरे जेहेन में घूमता रहता है और वो ये कि हम लोग जो पूरी ज़िन्दगी सिनेमा को दे देते हैं , चाहे वो बिग बी हों या शाहरुख़ खान या दिलीप साहब या भट्ट साहब, बतौर निर्देशक , उनका CAPITAL क्या है ....? अगर कल को Mr. बच्चन आप काम करना छोड़ दें तो आपकी आमदनी क्या रह जायेगी ? दिलीप साहब आप को आपकी फिल्मों से कितनी मदद मिल पाती है आज ? भट्ट साहब आप क्या कहते हैं ? क्या आप सबको और उन सारे लोगों को, जिन्होंने समर्पित कर दिया अपने आप को सिनेमा के लिए, भविष्य में उनके ही द्वारा किए गए फिल्मों से आमदनी नहीं होनी चाहिए ? जबकि निर्माता उन्हीं फिल्मों से जीवन भर कमाता है / मैं नहीं कहता कि निर्माता जो भी कमाए वो बाँट दे परन्तु वो अपनी कमाई का 50 % प्रतिशत हिस्सा तो बाँट ही सकता है / ये जायज़ भी है क्योंकि एक फ़िल्म में अनेक लोगों का योगदान होता है / और जब एक ही फ़िल्म से निर्माता बार -बार कमाता है तो हमारा हक बनता है कि हम भी उसमें से पाएं /

मौत का डर देखा मैंने अपने बेटे के चेहरे पर...!!!

बात कल शाम की है जब आज तक पर एक programme दिखाया जा रहा था – पाताल के देवता (ऐसा ही कुछ था ) / उस programame में जो एक बात मेरे बच्चे को रुला गई वो थी कि उस गुफा में स्थित एक पत्थर का खम्बा जब ऊपर के चट्टान से मिल जाएगा तो ये दुनिया ख़त्म हो जायेगी / कुछ भी नहीं बचेगा / महा प्रलय आएगा /programme के ख़त्म होते ही बेटे ने पूछा मुझसे - "प्रलय क्या होता है ?" मैंने कहा जब सब ख़त्म हो जाता है तो उसे प्रलय कहते हैं और जब पूरी पृथ्वी नस्ट हो जायेगी तो वो महा प्रलय होगा / इतना सुनते ही उसकी आँखें डबडबा गयीं / उसने  पूछा कि क्या सही में कुछ भी नहीं बचेगा ? मैंने कहा नहीं / इतना सुनते ही वो चुप हो गया ; नथुने फूलने लगे / मुझे लगा कि उसे ये बात गहराई से झू गई है / उसके मानसिक हलचल यहीं छोड़ देना अच्छा नहीं होगा / मैंने कहा कि बेटा जो भी पैदा होता है उसे एक न एक दिन तो मरना ही होता है ! मेरी इस बात से न जाने उसके दिमाग में क्या हुआ होगा और उसने क्या -क्या सोचना शुरू कर दिया होगा , मैं कह नहीं सकता / मैं मुस्कुराया तो वो और गंभीर हो गया / मैंने कहा कि देखो दादाजी भी नहीं हैं …………तुम्हारे छोटे नाना कुछ दिनों पहले एक रोड एक्सीडेंट में ख़त्म हो गए …………इसी तरह तुम भी नहीं रहोगे , पापा भी नहीं रहेगा और माँ भी / इतना सुनना था कि आंखों में रुके आंसू चेहरे पर उतर गए …../ मैंने कहा रो मत बेटा / ये सब तो भगवन करते हैं …../ उसने पुछा कि क्या सच में वो खम्बा चट्टान से सट जाएगा और फिर सब मर जायेंगे ? मैंने कहा नहीं ! हम नहीं मरते …..आत्मा मरती है / मेरे इस कथन से वो भावनात्मक स्थिति से बाहर आ गया और सोचने लगा कि अभी तो पापा ने कहा कि सब मर जायेंगे और अभी कह रहे हैं कि हम नहीं मरेंगे / उसकी इस परेशानी को मैं भाप गया और उसे एक किस्सा बताया / मैंने कहा कि याद है न तुम्हें जब हम लोग किराये के मकान में रहते थे / हमें हर 11 महीनो के बाद घर बदलना पड़ता था ! जिस तरह हमारे घर का एक तय समय होता था उसी तरह हमारे शरीर का भी एक तय समय होता है और उसके बाद भगवान् कहते हैं कि अब इस शरीर को छोड़ दो / तो जिस तरह हम घर बदलते थे वैसे ही हमारी आत्मा शरीर बदलती है / दूसरे जन्म में कौन सा शरीर मिलता है वो भगवान् ही सोचते हैं / तो जब ये दुनिया ख़त्म हो जायेगी तो कलयुग का अंत होगा और उसके बाद आएगा सतयुग / उस युग में हम फिर पैदा होंगे / जब उसे इस बात की तसल्ली हुई कि हम पूरी तरह से नहीं ख़त्म होंगे तब उसने आंसू पोछ लिए अपने / मैंने कहा कि हम सब उस भगवन का ही हिस्सा हैं / जिस तरह सिनेमा हॉल में एक रौशनी जब परदे पर पड़ती है तो हमें लोग दिखते हैं , उसी तरह हम सब भी उस भगवन का हिस्सा हैं / रौशनी ख़त्म तो सब ख़त्म / सब कुछ उस किरण में मिल जाता है / उसी तरह जब सब ख़त्म हो जाएगा तो हम सब भगवन के पास चले जायेंगे /
क्या समझा होगा वो ये मैं अभी तो नहीं बता सकता लेकिन उसके दिमाग में ये बात उसे जीवन की सच्चाई के करीब ज़रूर ले आयी होगी /

Celibrity makes a product a BRAND, sometimes negatively.

कल Tv 9 पर एक आधे घंटे का programme देखा / सोच में पड़ गया की हमारी कितनी बड़ी ज़िम्मेदारी बन जाती है जब हम मनोरंजन के छेत्र में काम करते हुए समाज के जिम्मेदार नागरिक में शुमार हो जाते हैं ? इसका सीधा असर उन आम आदमी पर पड़ता है जो आपकी तरफ़ ऐसे देखता है जैसे की आपका हर कदम सोचा समझा होगा, समाज के हित में होगा / तब्बस्सुम जी का डॉ. मुनीर खान, जिसका क्लीनिक, कहीं वेर्सोवा में है, का show anchor करना कितने ही गरीब और ज़रूरतमंद लोगों की जेब में सेंध लगा गया मालूम नहीं / ये शख्स दावा करता है कि इसके द्वारा दी गई दवा हर बिमारी का इलाज है / इस दावे को जब तबस्सुम जैसे जाने पहचाने चेहरे का समर्थन एक anchor के रूप में मिलता है तो एक आम आदमी यही सोचता है कि अगर तबस्सुम जी ने ये कहा है तो झूठ तो हो ही नहीं सकता / और इसी चक्कर में पड़ कर वो अपना नुक्सान कर बैठता है / हम- आप जब समय के साथ एक public figure बन जाते हैं तो इस बात का ख़याल रखना चाहिए कि हम क्या कर रहे हैं / कम से कम वैसी चीज़ों को समर्थन न दें जिसका सीधा सम्बन्ध जीवन से हो / तब्बस्सुमजी, मैं इस लेख के जरिये चाहूंगा कि आप उन्हीं news channel वालों का सहारा लेकर अपनी बात सामने रखें और आम आदमी को बताएं कि सच्चाई क्या है /

Give them power and actual freedom and see the change…..

Well, 1st phase of 2009 election has seen an average of 50% vote...ranging from lowest in Bihar 46% (approximately) to 86% in Lakshyadweep. That means 50% of the voters were either chai pee rahe the ya chai naheen pee rahe the....!! Hardly matters. Thanks to TATA that has endeavored to awaken people at large and do not always put 'money' in forefront. Effort of Aamir Khan is also appreciable. But my view has strongly been supported by the 50% turn out at 1st phase of election. So I put forth my question again...Do we really have or will have actual representative of people (considering the fact that the other half of voters are keeping them away from the election) and that too a candidate who commands maximum respect from his constituency??? The answer is big 'NO'. First of all, there must be 90% (or above) voting in any constituency to declare it 'VALID' and there must be freedom to stamp on 'NONE OF THEM'. The first point will put it straight with people, at large, that they can drink tea only after they have cast their vote and 2nd point will make Election Commission (EC) realize that candidates are not of peoples' choice, in particular constituency. The dual point will force voters to come at polling booth and will alleviate the pain and burden of EC, who finds it difficult to filter out the anti-social elements, due to weak legal system. Given ultimate power to ELECT or ELIMINATE candidate from election will ease out peoples' frustation. Do not we realize that we are, most of the time, forced to elect from the worse!!! The power to eliminate candidate will bring fair candidates in our political system. Assume, for a moment, that even 40 out of 50% of the voters say 'NONE OF THEM'!! Will it not force parties to give us right candidates, realizing that the candidates are not upto peoples's expectations? And think, if that comes with 90% of votes what will be the political scenario of the worlds' largest democracy!! If we all want to drink tea in peace we will have to force ourselves first to go to the polling booth and then force the system to change. It's my earnest appeal, and equally believe that people of my country will agree too, to EC to take this into account and if any law has to be made to implement it.....make it. Otherwise the lagest democratic country will have poorest election and we all will suffer at large. Decide, as Aamir Khan rightly appeals to, not to sell your kid's future to those who come begging for vote. Apply your mind and ELECT or ELIMINATE them.

Do we get what we want from our ELECTION

It always appear to me that something is missing from our Election..........time and again we hear that its our right to vote and agar election ke din aap vote naheen kar rahe ho to aap so rahe ho. Maan liya ki aap so rahe ho...........but do we have complete freedom in electing the candidate to say that he/she represents the people at large. A big NO......!!!! We are forced to select or elect from the list of candidates, without having option to stamp on 'None of the above'. What happens if somebody does not want to elect from the candidates appearing for election. Are not we forced to select from the worse or better few.Does this represent peoples' verdict??? So, to my view, people at large must be given this option to filter out criminals, to which Election Commission finds at receiving end, reasons could be varied from outdated laws to legal to political limitations. After all, it is we who decide the future. Have complete faith in people and not partial one.
Secondly, we declare any candidate winner, without having cut off limit, and say he represents the people from his area or constituency. Even school examinations has some percentage fixed to declare a student pass/fail. Although people's participation has gone up in recent past but, to my view, at least, there must be some percentage of voting fixed to declare the election VALID and some percentage fixed to declare the candidate winner from the particular constituency. However it's tedious job for common people but can be done easily by officers sitting with data. Not a single Election be declared valid till it sees 90 % (percentage could be higher.This is where I say an expert is needed) of its voting. And not a single candidate should be given representation till he has more than 50 % of total voting.

Well, this will give people ample power to utilise his right in correct manner. These are some of my points that has kept disturbing me, right from my childhood. Hope the Blog system will make difference.
